Any dust or bypass issues? The seal had me a bit iffy on the AEM since it's slightly oversized.
I was worried about that at first. Absolutely no dust on the inside of my PRL inlet tube. It is a tad oversized, but just make sure you clamp it down well and you will be fine.

Nice! I did notice some dust in the plastic intake elbow after using the PRL filter. I'll switch to the AEM soon and see how it fares.

Exact same situation. Which is why I tried this filter to try and prevent that. Im very happy with the results.
Did you notice any power loss? I know the AEM is more restrictive, but not sure if it's enough to choke the motor at all

I tried something different this time around clearing the DTC and that was disconnecting the battery terminal. I remember didn't do that when I swapped filters. The car did it's initializing after connecting the battery back, and notice the car seems to drive better? Could be in my head but thought it wouldn't hurt giving the ECU a reset. So far the codes haven't returned. I haven't rechecked the fuel trims or MAF readings yet.

That sucks. If they're no longer offering discounts, don't see the point of waiting and driving to one. Don't have to send the ECU out when there are options currently to remotely unlock the ECU. Tune here I come.
Who does remote unlocks? I wanted to go Hondata given the pre-built maps to get a plain jane 91 octane bump but didn't really want to give up my ECU for N days.

There's two that I know of. Serge Bo on Facebook, and Phearable. They send you the needed ECU to laptop harness, and they log into the laptop remotely to complete the jailbreak. The prices are a little bit more expensive than sending the ECU out to have it jailbroken but I'll gladly pay that to not have my ECU sent out.

I'm also looking for a used Hondata Flashpro. If anyone is selling, I'm interested. Wonder why Hondata stopped the jailbreak discounts.

@Serge81 just performed remote unlock for me today. Can confirm running my TSP OTS tune on my flashpro with no issues.

I developed remote unlocks back in October, proudly first in the world. Successfully processed 88 cars in states alone, you can find feedbacks and reviews are all over fb reddit and forum. Feel free to msg me and ill gladly do it for you.

How much is it at their tours ? My offer is 1040 for unlock + fp combo. And you dont need to drive anywhere.

I guess there is no point for them to lose money on discounts with almost no competition.

@Serge81 I appreciate your response! I was able to resolve the CEL by putting the OE thermostat back. Wasn't a leak issue with the Spoon, just that Spoon kept the water at ~154F with street driving. OE brings that up to ~172F and hasn't thrown a CEL since.

Thanks for responding here on the ECU, I'm considering when to pull the jailbreak as I have a new frontpipe, downpipe, radiator, intercooler, and all the related hoses being replaced in May; intake and turbo tube have already been swapped out with Eventuri parts. Thinking it may be best to wait for the physical mods to be completed as I wasn't sure if the parts would need to be considered as part of a tune.

Hondata charged $50 deposit and $1020 at the event a month ago. Flashpro+unlock+shirt (haven't received yet). I'd do remote if I didn't already wait to go to a tour event.

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1B3uVHFq7V/ check this one about 0101 error. new cars are very picky about leaks so need really good smoke machine to diag that. cheapo ones dont make enough smoke or pressure and it might be the problem.
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. So far the code hasn't came back since disconnecting the battery.
