If i made 350 whp with an 11th gen civic si, what cars would i be able to beat on a straight line race, and would it just be worth it to spend 15 grand to trade my car in for a faster one.

The main reason I got the FL5 was the handling, not the raw straight line speed.

In my opinion straight line speed is one of the least important criteria...

after my wife somehow got herself pregnant and decided to get a minivan, I had to sell my Cougar XR7 (supercharged same mechanicals as Thunderbird SC) and drove her 240SX. much less power, but very agile and well balanced car, easy four wheel drifts without even trying... though I did miss the raw power, it was much more fun to drive.

and why I cross shopped the CT4-V Blackwing and did not even consider the CT5-V Blackwing.

350whp in a Civic Si? Your wheel spin would be atrocious. I'd recommend buying a VB WRX, tune it, add intercooler and intake. Apparently those get to 400hp easily. 4WD launching helps get it off the line.

Or buy a C6 / C7 Corvette used.

Imo, the money you would spend to get the power you want is enough to warrant a faster car. Unless you really like the platform you're already on of course.
