Radar Detector Mirror Mount?

I am looling to buy a Uniden R8 Radar detector and would like to mount it to my rear view mirror.
Any Suggestions as to which mount I should use?

In their website you select vehicle fit guide. From their site " Each BlendMount is custom made for a particular mirror. We ask you to enter your vehicle Year Make Model and specific accessory here in our Vehicle Fit Guide, and will then present the possible mirrors for each Trim package for you to choose from. After your particular mirror is chosen we then route you to the compatible BlendMount SKU to purchase."

My installer used a BMG-3017. He didn't think the BR7-3017 would work with the FL5.

Correction, I checked my invoice and he did use the BR7-3017. I think the BMG was from the initial quote, which was for an Escort. I went with the Uniden R8.

I have R8 and haven't actually seen a solution with it installed in fl5 ctr. So if you have the solution please post pic's because I know a few guys on the fourm will be interested

I used a BNR-2001R to mount my Uniden, but it required some cutting of the plastic housing at the mirror stem. I have a FitcamX dash cam that comes with it's own replacement plastic housing pieces in front of the mirror, so I wasn't cutting into the OEM plastics (although they are probably pretty cheap). I don't have a great picture but this is it installed. There is a rectangular notch cut into the plastics but you can't see any of it when everything is together.

Appreciated greatly. Is that the stock mirror that comes with the car or did you switch it. I'm probably going to do the same set up that you have.

That's the Accord homelink mirror, thanks to College Hills. And everyone here who did this swap previously.

The radar detector is hard wired to the fuse box, and the mirror is rock solid. I have a great installer.
