Hello, I was supposed to get my car that arrived 03/30/2023. This upcoming Monday was going to be the day of purchase but got a call yesterday saying that there is a stop sale due to the seat issue. Came to the forums to see if it was true or not and it seems it MAY be true… can somebody run my VIN to see if I am affected?
VIN: JHMFL5G46PX000639

Thanks!!

yup...your car is part of it, looks like you cannot complete purchase until that seat is fixed and currently it shows back order with NO eta

not MAY be true...that is a real campaign and that is real delay you're about to encounter lol

good luck!

make sure they have a good movie in the waiting room, you're going to need one
I have an upcoming scheduled appointment for the driver seat frame (part came a couple days ago) was wondering if I should go through with that or if I should just wait for the recall? I contacted the Service Dept. and the service manager said they haven’t heard anything…

I would wait!

Make sure you’re getting one of the new ones for sure

If the part came just a couple of days ago it’s probably not from the first run, right? To your point though, I’m not sure how they’d check that to be certain of it.

If I were in this situation I’d go ahead and have it swapped out as surely it is safer than what’s in the car now (especially if you drive it a lot). That’s key.

Yes
Thank you very much for checking on mine and others. I will call my closest dealer Monday and see if they can get me scheduled in for the recall part or where to proceed from here. It might be till May like they said.
