I have no idea…and there’s really no way for me to tell, unfortunately. I would have to try to rip it out of there to find out. I assume that the foam should’ve been installed before the glass, based on how far back there it is located. It would be a PITA for a person (during vehicle assembly) to have to go in there and install it after the fact. Not to mention, there’s nothing that would really hold that foam in place, which really makes me think it is pinned in there by the glass. It’s probably there to keep the dash from expanding (due to heat) and rattling against the glass. It may also help with glass installation. Just my guess.Do you know if the foam piece for yours between the dash and windshield is attached to the glass or the dash?
