SBX PERFORMANCE FL5 OIL COOLER PROJECT!
What good is developing an SBX Performance x Scorpion Motor Sport front bumper designed with functional oil cooler ducts if I'm not going to offer an oil cooler setup to go with it?

After doing my research and talking with several companies, I've decided to go with what I consider the best of the best. SETRAB.

For those unfamiliar with Setrab, they're a Swedish company with a history dating back to 1968 and decades of experience in high-performance cooling and motorsports. I've been working directly with Setrab USA, based in Ohio, and they've been nothing but helpful. Great people who actually take the time to discuss the technical side of things and help me figure out the best possible setup for the FL5.

The plan is to offer TWO setups:
Single Oil Cooler: Street and spirited driving.
Dual Oil Cooler: More aggressive driving, track use, and higher cooling demands.

And if you look closely at the photo, you'll notice TWO different size heat exchangers.

That's intentional! all the info ill give as of now

Here's something I'm doing differently.
Even with the single cooler, I'm planning to mount it on the passenger side, closer to the factory oil filter. This allows for shorter more direct oil lines potentially reducing pressure drop and unnecessary plumbing. I'm going to find out if it works as well in practice as it does on paper.

That means relocating the windshield washer reservoir, figuring out brackets, mounting angles, ducting, airflow, and making everything work together with the SBX bumper.

And most importantly, ACTUAL TRACK TESTING!
I've got some track guys lined up actually from across the world to help test these setups. Oil temperatures, pressure, and real-world performance will determine what gets released.

I'm trying to develop parts that are actually different and useful. I'd rather take my time and get it right than rush something out just to make a sale. NO direct Drop ship from CHINA for SBX EVER!!!!!!!! SBX will forever use USA companies if possible. The Bumper it was not possible which sucks but still great quality coming out of Malaysia

Also looking to provide quality and performance at a reasonable price on this one.

Target release: Early Spring 2027
More to come!
