So far the FL5 is similar but I think its a bit worse on the long highway drive vs the FK8. About the same in my daily commute...

On my FK8 I got on average 24-25mpg
On my FL5 I get on average 20-22mpg

What causes the difference in mpg?? Same commute/drives..

Could be rear downforce / drag and larger tire contact point. Every car / engine is different too.

My guess is the wider tires mainly... Though i didn't notice any real improvement when i went to narrower snow wheels and tires, but snow tires usually have worse MPG too...

Extra annoying is that the tank is smaller as well... Basically guarantees i have to refill the car during the week every work week... Whereas FK8 can just about stretch out 5 work days with my commute

So...is the FL5 getting better worse, or about the same as the FK8?
My guess is very close.
My 2018 CTR gets 26.8 combined. Over 30 on long trips (unless going uphill) and of course low 20's for stop and go traffic or shorter trips. Most of my trips are longer with traffic that moves well.

None - shopping for fl5
I've been at 15-17mpg for 2 years so anything 20mpg+ would make me happy.
point of confusion: what model - 2y in fl5?? - everyone on this thread state model, terrain hilly vs flat, altitude, typical traffic in yr commute
