When I turn my steering wheel back and forth while stationary, there is sound that comes from the passenger area. I could not replicate the sound while driving any speed >5mph or when front end is on jack stands. The wheels do not have any play when shaking it at 3 and 9 o clock, as well as 12 and 6 o clock. My car has about 28k miles and dropped 1.5 inch all around on Tein Flex Z coilovers (coilovers were installed at 23k miles, and I've had an alignment immediately after lowering, and recently an alignment a week ago after raising it a bit). Any and all help will be appreciated, thanks!

**Forgot to add, this sound was not present during or after my coilover installation. It happened a few days after my camber plates were adjusted during my second alignment.

I took mine in and they acknowledged the sound, but checked everything and said “normal”. I’ve seen a lot of these same videos so who knows.

Do you have any suspension modification? I am lowered on Tein Flex Z coilovers, and two of the shops I visited this morning were inattentive and blamed my coilovers for the noise its making. I've spent some time under the car and pinpointed the sound to the inner tie rods and/or steering components. I've repeatedly asked the shop to check the tie rods and components of the suspension, and they claim its in good condition... It doesn't drive bad or anything, merely just annoying when I do drysteer out of my driveway. Thanks for sharing your experience, and If I fix the issue, I will let you know.
