Too little too late. Car is way faster without. We'll see how many they actually sell.

Was this Nissan's plan all along (delayed release of manual) or is this in response to demand or observed success of competitions manual offerings?

The challenge with this vehicle (and the GR86, unfortunately), is what gave it its existence: shared platforms with other brands.

I get that the B58 is supposed to be an amazing engine, and the bored-out boxer is great as well, but I can't confidently get my car entirely serviced by Toyota in the long term. I wouldn't mind a Supra with the RC-F's engine (I know, I know, not a straight 6), but it's a fan favorite.

Do any of you guys have the same reluctance when it comes to mixed-brand vehicles?

2023 Toyota Pricing Document - Includes Manual and A91-MT Pricing

https://www.supramkv.com/threads/20...ent-includes-manual-and-a91-mt-pricing.14231/

Browsing the Toyota Pressroom site and saw this PDF document (located on the right sidebar) on the 2023 Toyota GR Supra page which not only confirms that the manual will be priced at the exact same, but the A91-MT being priced at not much more than the premium. I haven't seen anything officially released for 2023 pricing or posted here yet, but it's conveniently located on the Toyota website so maybe everyone already knew. Thoughts?

Click above or see below:

2370 2023 GR Supra 2.0 I4 $43,540
2372 2023 GR Supra 3.0 Base I6 $52,500
2374 2023 GR Supra 3.0 Premium I6 $55,650
2383 2023 GR Supra 3.0 Base MT $52,500
2385 2023 GR Supra 3.0 Premium MT $55,650
2387 2023 GR Supra 3.0 A91-MT $58,345

Tempting at that price, but it's really hard for me to want a BMW engine and the potential associated maintenance cost after putting 80k on the odo

i owned two BMWs for a total of 180k miles. Not a single engine issue, they’re bullet proof (although they weren’t turbos). It’s all the other crap in the car.

there are some great independent BMW mechanics/shops out there at least in New England, I’d have no worries if I really liked the car.
