TSB 21-063: 9” Center Display Buzz or Ticking Sound (2022 Civic Touring)

SYMPTOM
A buzz or ticking sound is heard from the center display.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
There is a gap between the center display unit and the dashboard causing vibrations.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Apply wool felt tape to the lower corners of the center display unit.

Interesting. It doesn't look like a super hard job to take everything apart. Not sure why the front grill vent need to be taken out too. Hopefully that part is easy and causing no damage in the process since it is the aesthetic part of the dashboard. Glad to know this since I may need to take this apart when I want to clean it in the future.

If anyone is interested, Honda's felt tape is $72.84CAD (p/n 06993-SA5-000) I would recommend any felt wool tape just as long as you get 5 pieces that are 10x1 mm

It takes less than 30 mins to diy but if you want it recorded under Honda it will take roughly an hour (time you check in, tech locate/perform service, leave the dealership)
