Haven't uploaded the tune yet, doing the cai conversion next week, YouTube has some nice installation videos as well as the forums

Smoothness when shifting to second gear has little to do with the tune other than the rev hang disable. You might also get some increased inertia on the heavy flywheel once boost kicks in, but not much at lower RPM's. You'd get more benefit on your shift from 1 to 2 by removing the clutch delay valve and a rev hang delete.

Wow! Completely different power! Totally worth the price of admission!
Power everywhere and top end like a Honda should have!

I see exactly what you mean on the 1-2 up shift. The power is instant! You really have to be smooth or you're into power immediately. I thought it made it quicker and smoother for me and I have trouble shifting due to my injuries.

I absolutely love this map. This instant power is awesome for part throttle, roll on power, & exiting a corners wow!
The down low feels very smooth and similar to a full on 19/23 map but without any boost lag, seriously it's so nice.
It still has boost dampening some what but is much more aggressive.
Blown away going around some corners with the power on tap instantly out of corners and then it just pulls like a freight train until redline.
No more falling on it's face at 5000RPM, it's beautiful! Actually blew the tires when it got up top end on one pull, so much fun!

Really impressed guys. Tested the drivability with a lot of part throttle and A/C testing.....very smooth, even smoother than at 19.5/23 map.
I felt almost no "snatchness" down low. Very Very smooth tune!

Launch control is fully adjustable but is put at 3000RPM stock, I was using 2500RPM but left it to try tonight.

Just had to go to map 3 with the OTF switching for the first time.

Only issue is still my KC......I had to pass two slow cars very quickly in 2nd-3rd gear to get in front for a sweet set of uphill corners.
Looked down and my KC was at 1.05ish........stopped right there and just cruised home a few miles. I was able to get it back down to 0.90 but I'm alittle worried?
That happened in sport mode but I started off at 0.57 and slowly creeped up until 1.00+.....even had an hour cool down period while I ran an errand.

Hopefully I can go grab some 93 somewhere, about to search online and test some more tonight. All other specs/sensor values looked great and the car was a beast but I'm worried about my numbers, I hope I got some bad gas but it literally happened after the update. I can only hope it's not reading correctly!

Any advice? It's in the 80's so not hot at all and I only have a PRL Stage 1 Intake Hose & AEM Drop in filter.
At least now I can actually get it to flucuate as it should, I cruise for 10 minutes in 6th gear starts dropping it and lots of pulls brings the value up.

Not sure what's going on. Never even got that high in 106F+ temps with the A/C driving aggressively before the update?

Gonna go back out in a bit but pretty worried. Also couldn't tell if the VSA was off completely off or not if anyone was wondering? Forgot to test the VSA button, will shortly.

Forgot to test 1st gear BBG as well, the extra power required all of my attention. I had trouble looking to see what the boost was at! Will check out here shortly as well.

@CrippleRipple you say you first saw some movement when you initially updated the KTuner unit with the new features, and have seen some elevated KControl levels using the KTuner-supplied starter map; what values did you see prior?

I'm interested to see some logs from the starter map on your car. In the meantime, I do recommend using the starter file or map 1/2 on the TSP Stage 1 file for the time being.

Are you on the same tank of fuel as when you first updated the firmware to support the new features?

Are you getting fuel from a small mom/pop gas station, or larger chain station with a high usage?

Feel free to send some logs with both the starter file and the TSP file to my email when you can.

Yeah, looking back at my past .csv TunerView datalogs were showing 0.60-.0.70 all the time. Even in crazy heat and A/C load.

I was on the same tank when I updated and noticed the change immediately but didn't think too much about it at the time.
My numbers jumped probably +0.10-0.20 with that spike to +1.00

I've since went through a few tanks trying 91 with and without 10% ethanol most gas here has and at mom & pop shops with good gas and Shell/various other name brand gas stations. 93 octane and all ethanol has simply disappeared in my area! Can get VP race gas! lol
The KC was always the same.

Oiled looked good, didn't see anything loose in the engine bay, & had my neighboors kid rev/hit the launch control while I was listen to the motor. Sounds great, no odd noises. Old washed up Tuner, ASE & Honda technician so I know a little bit :)

How do you prefer datalogs? TunerView lets me datalog while viewing gauges using a .CSV file but there is also an app for KTuner specific datalogging? What does everyone prefer? I can't drive with a laptop hooked up without someone to hold it for me and even then I'm hitting the wires unless they're behind me! lol

Got down to half a tank & I'm gonna go look for some high quality fuel right now, plus the streets are lite tonight! This tune is what I've been needing! lol

Seriously awesome job on the tune though and appreciate all the support!

@CrippleRipple I prefer .kdlg via the software if you can, but I can also accept CSV. KDLG is just simpler to load and trace in the KTuner software natively, which can help me pinpoint anything odd quicker.

There were no actual calibration changes when the software/firmware was updated to accommodate the new features (to my knowledge, and the head cheese at KTuner and I talk almost daily).

If you can, find some 93 with 10% ethanol or something very high octane (if you have access to 100-104oct unleaded that would suffice). Avoid anything leaded or with elevated ethanol content for now.

Have you flashed the stock calibration at all to monitor behavior by chance?

And I'm glad to hear you like the calibration so far (minus the continuation of what seems like a pre-existing condition regarding knock control behavior). That file probably has a combined year of development time in it on my own personal car before I let it out into the wild!

I'm happy to help, so don't hesitate to ask.

Sounds good. I'll see what the KTuner datalog file output is in TunerView or have my wife hold the laptop tomorrow.

Looks like there is no 93+ gasoline within 2 hours from my location. Gonna have to go see VP Fuels and see what they have.

I didn't figure anything regarding the update would affect KC but that's when it happened and only thing I can think of? I haven't gone back to stock to look at KC yet.

Gonna take a cruise and see what happens!

Love the map, knew I made a good decision! I can tell you spent a lot of time on it, I'm very impressed!

Interesting trip to the Shell Station for V-Power 91 and started both TunerView and KTuner Datalogging.

Got into a few scrambles with done V8's and this map was amazing. They were even pretty amazed as this little 1.5 was actually pulling on the top end.

If I wasn't having KC worries I'd be hot lapping this thing all night, the streets are crazy for some reason tonight. Need someone to hold my laptop damnit!

Decent numbers to the pump with a good pull through the gears a few times, left the station at 0.71 and a soon as it got going it looks like the to 1.0+.........CSV datalog worked but I'm not seeing one for the KTuner one.

Runs flawless, I'm not wondering if I hit the sensor taking the battery out and doing the shifter cable bushings. Or my Rallye esque driving on gravel roads? Need to go see where the sensor is.

Absolutely killer map people, this goes on the must buy list with a KTuner. No brainier if you need a KTuner, your tune for free is a bargain!

Also worth getting if you have a flashpro, I did but waiting until a 93 vpower fill up and cobra conversion.....where did you get 91 vpower, I've only seen it in 93 here?

@CrippleRipple I have been running street TSP stage 1 for days and KC has been steady around .49. Using 93 octane.

Also, anyone know what RPM the NLS is set to for this tune?

5,000rpm is the NLS reset RPM.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the tune!
