If you do nothing else - coat the wheels! Game changer.
I thought this was bologna until I coated my winter wheels--it's a must-have.

@johnny.silva7 - I use CquartzUK from Carpro out of Florida, but plenty of options out there, everyone has their preferred coating.

I went with Adam's, there are some good YT videos with comparisons and it seemed like a good brand/product. I have a bunch of their stuff and really like it, a step up from the Chemical Guys stuff I used on my last car.

So worth doing, I love being able to just wipe my wheels clean. Sadly, I (still) haven't been able to do the car itself because of my parking situation but someday dammit.

First oil change

Wtf was honda thinking with the damn screws of the under cover. Flathead, bigger philips and then a smaller philips. And some were so fucking tight I almost striped a couple. Shoulda been 1 kind of screws and its 2024 we should be using torx or at least hex.

Finally made time to book an appointment to get my AWE exhaust, mud flaps, PRL hvi, charge pipes and intercooler installed. A bit disappointed in the intercooler as they had to cut the bumper support to make it fit but oh well. *** Update, spent the morning pulling the bumper to see what is up... intercooler was installed upside down, prl logo was to the passenger side... Had to remove the bumper support to get it off, flipped and all good now.***

Are you saying that a shop installed your intercooler upside down?

What about the cut out bumper support bracket? Are they fixing that for you?
Waiting for a call back, they basically took the lip off the bumper support as the intercooler sat flush to the beam. I couldn’t get the intercooler out without removing the bumper support.

You’re not the first to say that. When my car was first worked on to install oil cooler, I had an oil change done. My guy asked me who worked on the car previously because some of the screws were getting stripped. But no one did. He was the first. So maybe it came from factory that way. I actually ordered some of the screws for that panel yesterday to replace next time.

lol I just ordered a bunch of them to have around. I should have probably just gone to Lowes and get hex head screws of the same size now that I think about it.
I didnt go crazy with tightness, there are a lot of screws holding that thing so they don't need to be crazy tight.

I also was using a screw driver (actually japanese) but then when I could not get it out I got a different bit out that actually filled the philips hole better and then it came out. Still it should have not been that tight/should not be philips head.
I can already tell the rotor screw that holds it will get striped as well (another area where we should not be using philips heads)

Wonder if we should use penetrating oil to get them removed the first time?

I did, I used Kroil after it wasn’t coming out easily. It might have helped.
Also 2 of them were easy to remove, 2 were hard

When I do mine, I'll just spray it first and let it sit for a day, I guess. Junk design.

I know someone that still haven’t been able to remove at least one of the screws. It’s going to get stripped at this point. I suppose if we brought it in for service at the dealership they would replace it?!
