I'm with you, give me the sub $500 Lip which won't make me cry if I break it!

This Red FL5 is our current test car but not personally owned by me, I still have my FK8. It's a close friend's and he wants to go the more JDM route so the wheels were on for a temporary fit for testing. They've already been removed and will be back on my FK8 this week. Here's how they look on Green

Exactly pretty sure if I entered or exited my driveway with enough speed(not that much in reality) I’d scrape and who knows. I’m torn about even getting one tbh. Or worry about it flying off at high speeds

I have a 1.5mile stretch of highway on my way to work, with no spots for cops. And I go zoom zoom zoom in the R and zoom zoom in my Si

Dug through the basement and found a tube of leftover Reflect-A-Gold that still had three sheets in it. The GruppeM intake includes a small thermal patch layer applied to the lower portion of the intake box as seen in this PIC:

PIC of one of the three sheets:

Question is what would @Tougefl5 do in this situation if forced to make a decision. Would he:
  1. install the thermal wrap onto the GruppeM intake;
  2. swallow the PRL pill and install their HVI instead; or
  3. move on to the next project.

Had this decal added on the sides of the OEM wing! Saw this idea at Mid-Ohio last year on a matte green wrapped Type R and loved it. Nice inexpensive subtle addition without full-blown wrapping the wing to match the car.

Im very pleased with it, looks great to me!

It’s not a product you buy, you gotta go to a wrap shop and have them do the work custom. Luckily, my wrap shop had a color that was pretty much spot on to boost blue (not exactly boost blue). They put a decal on the wing then wrapped over it.

Below is a picture of the wrap color I used to match boost blue, might have to work to find another color wrap if you have a different color! My shop charged about 100 bucks for the work, though I think they made a mistake and meant to quote me 200.

Good luck!

I like it and if I didn’t have the OEM + CF wing I’d of definitely done it to the gloss black wing 👍🏻It’s a nice touch and Not to much color matching going on.
