R660 is a really good all rounder/daily turbo. I wanted to have something reminiscent of the golden era Hondas reving all the way past redline. So I sacrificed the factory like spool for way more top end power. If you’re gonna track the car, I’d recommend smaller, faster spooling turbos like MHI, or the new Kuro+, which is gaining lots of popularity for our chassis.

A few days ago, I finally made a trip up to Carlisle PA, and spun the DynaPack with Drob at IMW for a Custom tune. Despite high humidity and temperatures, we were able to hit some nice numbers! higher than I was initially expecting.

It was a very cool experience, but at the same time, it was nerve-racking for me since I installed every single modification myself. If something were to go wrong (e.g. boost leaks, fuel leaks, mechanical issues), I would have no one but myself to blame ? Yes, I did my due diligence and prepped the car before hand (new spark plugs, fresh oil/coolant, double check hose clamps etc.). Thankfully, Drob didn’t see or experience any irregularities. I’m by no means a professional mechanic, just your typical DIYer, but it’s definitely a huge satisfying feeling knowing that you installed everything correctly and that the car runs smoothly pushing this kinda power.

Seems a bit low for the Rv6. Could have made the same power with kuro+ and be more responsive.
Did DRob stop due to wanting to be conservative or you just didn't want to push it?

I wanted a real cellphone mount so I ripped my dash off and installed a RAM cellphone mount. Here's a step by step if anybody wants to do the same. Please excuse the dust, it's my daily for my daily HAHAHA The RAM Mount parts were bought off Amazon.

1. Go around the dash with a slim plastic pry tool to pop out the dash console. I left the push button plugged in because I didn't need to remove the dash off completely. The right side of the dash was left on because I don't have 3 hands , plus it makes it easier to pop the dash back in because of the reference points.

2. Disconnect the hazard button wire.

3. Gently pry up on the vent mount clips, there's clips on the bottom of the vent too.

4. Pop off the vent and remove two vent blades to allow the flat RAM track ball T-Bolt to seat properly. If you don't remove the blades, you will not be able to control which way to direct the air blow, it'll also obstruct the T-Bolt from fitting, preventing the entire dash to go back properly... I tried so that you wouldn't have to hahaha.

5. Insert RAM T-Bolt screw through the honeycomb.

6. Screw on the T-Bolt track ball finger tight to prevent the T-Bolt screw from falling into the vent. Insert the vent back from the bottom first then top to snap it back into the clips.

7. Once finger tightened, put the dash back and mount the RAM short double socket arm.

8. Double check the dash fitment to make sure that its seated properly. After inspecting the dash panel, mount the RAM Quick Grip cellphone holder. Please don't forget to screw the trackball onto the T-Bolt securely. I screwed it on really tight and nothing cracked luckily. I have an older Samsung and went with the XL size for the RAM Quick Grip cellphone holder. The top of the cellphone grip slides up to put your phone into it. I attached a video of it below. It has great pressure to grip onto your phone especially if you have a rubber cellphone case.

9. Sit back and angle the mount to your liking

Easy install, hardest part was removing the dash.

Took her for a test drive and opened her up a little after the system relearned and oh my she sounds better when letting off of the turbo. Downpipe from PRL will be next then Turbo then fuel system.

According to DRob, over 600whp on the RV6 will potentially cause catastrophic failure. So he stops it around the 570whp mark. My car has almost the same build and he did the same thing for me.

Any plans to get the tsp coupler for the inlet and HVI?
I only have the HVI installed but the coupler cleans things up nice

Looks cleaner but should ditch the vendor billboard for those buying rather than being sponsored IMHO.
