Here are some pictures of the FL5 at this year's TAS. The Mugen body kit comes with a none carbon option this year. I will have a vlog coming soon with all the other FL5s at the show.

I must have been out of the scene for too long but Mugen, in the early 2000's, was fairly conservative with their styling. Now they look like Wings West with super gawdy aero.

And those taillights give Mustang vibes...

And the single exit exhaust lol...

Yeah, not a fan of the rear wing myself. Single exhaust is used in racing for weight savings, anything other than that is used for valve control or aesthetics/style. A 4 popper only needs one hole.

I don’t know what the hell they are smoking over at Mugen these days but 🤮. Sad because I really liked their stuff back in the day.

I just realized but that center vent on the hood is slightly offset to be directly above the turbo/inlet. That would bug me lol

Any chance you got some detailed shots of upcoming Varis Wing? 👀

I used to be a Mugen fanboy in my 90's Honda and S2000 days but I agree with those that say they've lost their way in the last decade. So many of their parts serve no purpose other than being tacked on "style" mods. I am interested in their center console overlay which could be a good alternative to OEM though.

I also don't hate the Group B front bumper or the BBS collaboration wheels. The rest I have zero interest in.

The boy racer in me kinda loves the Mugen wing but I'd never throw it on the FL5. If Seibon or someone releases a similar shape but less massive, something more akin to the FK8 or STI wing, I'd be tempted.

That single exit center exhaust is super funky.
I can get used to it but it requires the Mugen diffuser so it doesn’t have a huge gaping hole left and right.
