I'd really respect Mugen if they inverted the trend and provided products that work but tone down the car, like a wing delete kit or a near identical part that's simply made of better or lighter material. Past my F&F days.

I do like the Recaro seats that give me vibes of my own 02 EP3R.

Great pics!

For anyone interested in the Mugen FL5 parts, there's a gloss black kit (Group A) and carbon fiber kit (Group B), and someone in Japan posted a video with pricing for the Group A items:

Lip - 77,000 Y - $526.94
Wing - 308,000 Y -
Diffuser - 99,000 Y - $677.49
Exhaust - 396,000 Y - $2709.96
Taillights - 143,000 Y - $978.79
Wheels - 143.000 Y -
Side Skirts - 132,000 Y - $903.32
Seats - 297,000 Y? - $2032.88
Wheel - 143,000 Y - $978.42
Shift Knob - 22,000 Y- $150.58

I didn't convert everything, but this will give you a rough idea of how much plasma to sell over the next few months. I assume the Group B pieces will be (much) pricier.

I’m really interested to see more info on the Blitz lip kits. Been waiting to see a good paint matched option, and it seems to look incredible.
To me that's the sleeper hit when it comes to FL5s at TAS 2024. Should have more info on it next month

The single middle exhaust makes it look like a turtle!

I don’t care if it saves tons of weight it’s ugly as f, so are the rest of the stuff!

Mugen bodykit peaked at DC5 days….

In my opinion, Mugen (and Spoon) were once "top of the line" for after market modifications. I had many early Spoon products on my 2006 S2000 that were great. Competition has now narrowed the field with many better designed and more functional products at less cost. I've been carefully researching FL5 rear wings and as an example, the Spoon $4.2K wing is one that in my estimation isn't worth the price. It reportedly comes with just a soft gel coat and surface imperfections that necessitate PPF. The fasteners are cheap and their fitment poor. And like many Spoon products customer support is lacking. Rather than install mostly status symbols, many are turning to less expensive, but more functional after market mods. I've found companies such as AWE, Miltek, APR, PRL, and 27Won to be more innovative and cost friendly, but that's just my admittedly bias opinion.

JDM anything is no where near as good as it used to be and it's all been about brand names forever with this stuff. It's the JDM tax (Varis etc etc)

Are these already on sale? Anyone know where the taillights can be bought?

Also, are there any other taillight options you all have seen out there? A lot for the sedan but I've seen nothing for the hatch.

King Motorsport says they’ll open orders in late Spring—that’s who I’ll likely order from.
