There are several threads, just gotta find them. Also keep in mind, not all tire manufacturers sidewalls will be equal. That 30 doesn't give enough beef but this looks delicious too. Does anyone have a 275/35 pic handy?
So anyone have a quick response to this before I go down a rabbit hole lol thanksTook the kiddos and wife out for a ride, the first thing she said was my FG2's woosh sound was better lol, so sounds like I will be getting a BOV soon.
How is it even installed?
HKS I believe. I bought the kit used from a forum userWhat bov was on your fg2?
It's just 3 bolts and a gasket afaik, but I've heard that going with a BOV over the bypass valve can cause fuel trim issues. I'd do research on whatever brand you intend to buy to make sure they don't mess with thatSo anyone have a quick response to this before I go down a rabbit hole lol thanks
Is it hard to install a BOV ? @Cueyo@zumbooruk
I have the COBB intake with OEM BPV. much louder intake and woosh sound.Took the kiddos and wife out for a ride, the first thing she said was my FG2's woosh sound was better lol, so sounds like I will be getting a BOV soon.

Now I want one but don't want to do the install by myself. I wish yall were closer.I have the COBB intake with OEM BPV. much louder intake and woosh sound.
but I do intentend to also replace the Honda OEM BPV since its rubber diaphragm design is not very durable.

I am a software guy.Now I want one but don't want to do the install by myself. I wish yall were closer.
Great insight! Very true to have the right tools, I've wasted so much time and ruined so much on my FG2 back in the day.I am a software guy.
Yet I found out that taking my time, reading instructions and looking at videos makes installation of "stuff" fairly easy (if you have the necessary tools, for example the tool that removes the fragile plastic fastener thingies that hold body parts together, I broke so many when attempting to use a screwdriver till I found, here, that there are special tools designed for removing the fasteners.)
The bypass valve seems fairly easy install, waiting for some sort of sale (black Friday?) before I pull the trigger on it, and some other 27Won parts...
Installing the COBB intake was fairly straight forward installation.
the most challenging part was when I re-installed the ECU, and was done tightening the battery cable, the socket flew off the wrench as I pulled the wrench off the battery. unfortunately, it did not make it to the ground. If I recall correctly, it ended up on top of the lower suspension part... took over three hours of jacking and removing parts both from the top and bottom to find it...
Bad Ann LV front guard was the most challenging and I had to use a Dremel tool to enlarge some holes, and use longer bolts.
Hybrid Racing short throw shifter was tedious, mostly taking the center console apart.
