My rep confirmed they are receiving 2 units from 2023 to 2025 and both are "pre-sold" (one to me, and the other to someone else). He expects to receive them in 2024 as they are not a high volume dealer.

Called same dealer asked what this page does, "It doesn't do anything, its mainly for people who don't have deposits in or arent part of any lines to submit a request".

Not sure if true. But pretty much they are saying it just gives false hope to people don't have a working order/reservation/deposit/line spot etc @ a leadership yet

Yep looks like ordering is worthless. It just puts you to closest dealer instead of putting you to a dealer with an empty allocation.

Not filling it out 10 times for different dealers, easier to call at that point.

Not gonna lie, the deposit lists never really meant anything TBH. They can skirt it if they really want to. Im pretty low @ one dealer in the GTA, but I pretty much said, listen Ill add $7.5K in options+ trade in a car to secure an allocation.

They are only getting 2 in 2023, that list went out the window as soon as they heard 2 units. its a free for all for-profit dealership. I'm not even sure where my +7.5K stands, but it sure beats a #1 spot with no addons that's for sure.

Also, in most dealerships employees arent allowed to buy first allocations, its always to customers to maximize profits. Dealer will give 2 fucks about employees, $$ talks.

My dealer hasn’t even bothered to get back to me. Pretty sure they pulled the rug out from underneath me.

That submit build thing does nothing lol. If you havent talked to a dealer yet you are prob out of luck. One got back to me right away saying the same thing.

I submitted a few, got calls from two saying they'll add me to the list. Told them I'm on the list already and the numbers seem to make sense. Seems like Canadians are pretty good at keeping to their lists unlike our US buddies.... ?

I BELIEVE all dealers should have been given their 3 year allocations by their territorial/district managers from HQ.
If they have not heard anything, odds are that specific dealership is NOT getting any allocations (for now).

That's incorrect, I would sell to whoever I felt should get the vehicle based on merit and use case. I would look to sell at Msrp to local, enthusiast and dealership loyalty and MAYBE I'll factor place in line as the tie breaker.

Just because I am willing to pay more to control my options, doesn't mean if I was in a position of power I would take advantage of the situation. You are equating my actions in a position of weakness with my potential actions in a position of power, again that's now how life or people work. It's not black or white like that my guy.

I'm not sure why you are mad at me for offering additional funds to get what I want lol. You can do the same, the DEALER decides not u, me or the flying head in the sky.

I submitted multiple orders didn't realize it was optioned for lease ... so i did another one for finance then another for cash, then i started submitting orders for different colors... I am sorry guys i clogged the system lol... but it seems to be worthless after all because a local dealership reached out to me right away and said the same thing... I have only 2 and they are spoken for and that you can put a deposit to be on a waitlist... I didn't bother since I was like i already put 3 deposits in 3 different dealerships and they all non confirmed or a solid deal

So I got an update... It's not horrible, but looks like my dealership wont get their allocation until 2024. That being said, he promised me that one allocation they get is guaranteed for me and my deposit is down. And from what I understood, looks like that 3 yr production seems about right for Canada. Looks like we will get the CTR from 2023 to 2025. Fuck this electric cars eh.

Well, hope I see some of you posting photos, hopefully I'll join the club end of 2023 or early 2024.
