Gruppe M Intake finally installed on my FL5

Boys, finally manage to install Gruppe M intake in my FL5 this weekend. I put pre-order since Oct/Nov 2023 (directly to Gruppe M Japan). The intake was shipped from Japan on Mar 29 and arrived on Apr 4. It was worth the wait. Full bolt-on, all so precise. No need to fight to install it (unlike PRL HVI that I have on my FK8). All went straight in, no scracthes, no swearing ... .

It is beautiful to look at, like art work (call me crazy). Sound amazing. Definitely overprice, I paid crazy $$$ for it; but you only live once so it's definitely worth it (for me).

Got revised tune with John Vega (Phearable Stage 2), two iterations. But now, car feels great with HKS Legamax exhaust, PRL intercooler (black) and Ohlins DFV.

Gruppe M in FL5 is more sophisticated whooosshh, enough to make you grin ... I'm bias though

Man. It's down to this or Eventuri for me. You say they're backordered? Is that resolved or would I basically have to get in line now and get the intake 6 months from now?

I think the same kit is also sold by Blitz, not sure what their stock looks like.

Gruppe M Japan continues manufactured the intake, however the demand is quiet high (according to Gruppe M USA). So, they already spoken for (pre-ordered) before they even make them. Their thruput is like 4-5 every 2 months (estimated).

If you want it, I would suggest to put the pre-order now. I believe their lead time is less than 2 months since they are already in production mode.

Correct, I think the only difference is the filter use (between Gruppe M & Blitz).

Order through Blackhawk Japan for either. They usually will tell you if an item is back ordered and you would have the chance to keep or cancel the order.

Nice, I put mine on about 2 weeks ago. Got sick of waiting for PRL (I preordered PRL intake, but they kept shipping to people that ordered a month after me to them...I was like, uh, no thanks). I ordered GruppeM and got it in less than a week from bulletproof...guess I was lucky and they had an extra in stock.
