After years and and years of waiting to finally be able to get a *true* dream car, I traded in my 2024 Elantra N-Line on September 20th and upgraded in a major way with a brand new Type R in Boost Blue. It was delivered to the dealership while I was attempting to make a deal on a Sonic Gray, and ultimately I chose this one the next day as I’d already owned an SGP Civic Sport in the past.

Just past the hood vent? Come on man that’s not even an option it’s front PPF , full front ppf, and full ppf, what kid of dealership is this?

Welcome and congrats! Partial ppf on the hood isn't it. You'll want the entire hood covered. And no, there are no OEM Type R branded all weather floormats.

Swapped in some all-weather floor mats over the weekend, OEDRO front + back. Very good OEM fitment. A little disappointed Honda didn’t put out Type R all weather mats to match the all weather trunk mat, but happy with these. Nice price, too—and doesn’t have an issue fitting under the pedals like some of the complaints from more expensive offerings.

Don’t forget the part where their engines burns through oil like a fat kid eating cake, and it’s just considered as part of normal usage.
I’ve probably checked the dipstick more in one oil change than I have checked it inbetween oil changes over the 160k in my 19 Si. Not burning oil is a reason to be a fan boi
Hahah

FlapFab Stone Guards are in…pretty straightforward install. For everyone who says the plastic clips to hold in this panel are bad…believe it, broke 3/4 of them even being gentle with a tool. I ordered replacement clips in advance from Amazon on advice from a Facebook posting.

Good investment. I got the rokblockz guards as well to help keep rocks from being thrown up the side

I figured it would be one of the best early investments for sure.

Does it really throw up that much rocks to worry about? I've had mine for 1.3k miles now, haven't really noticed any issues with rocks being thrown through those vents :dunno:

I was thinking that if it was really an issue, Honda would have apply a small ppf behind the vented area similar to the rear doors.
