Their V3 lip is an original design, I know one guy that runs it and fitment seemed spot on from what I can tell. There aren't much horror stories from AFD products it's just that if you search hard enough on Alibaba some of their stuff can be found there.
I wouldn't say horror stories, but I've bought a few things from AFD that had defects in the final product. Im not paying an arm and a leg, but just kinda disappointing when there's bubbles under the paint when it shouldn't be hard to make something gloss black.

Maybe horror stories is a bit exaggerated, but I've always read that their stuff tends to not have great fitment/color matching and there's not much they can do about it since it's mostly drop shipped parts.

I do like the v3 lip design quite a bit though, does it have proper bolts and nuts to attach to the front bumper? Or is it just plastic clips and tape?

Anointed Aero is getting closer to release. This one looks really good, and no drilling of the bumper required.

For those interested in the CFRP version, price is $1100 plus shipping. Preorders open 10/3 with an initial run of 20, it uses OEM bumper mounting points so no drilling required.

Looks like a really good Exceed alternative.

I'm super interested in the FRP version since I really liked Exceed but didn't want the bottom splitter. Afaik you can't order those separately from Exceed? And I'm not even sure if you could only install the lip without the splitter...

Correct you can't order the Exceed lip as a single piece without the splitter. Also Exceed is not very consistent with their shipping times. Anointed seems to be more likely to stick to their announced schedule

preorders for the anointed halo lip are not full yet so if you've been on the fence, don't wait until it's too late

While I was looking at wing options to try next, an unclaimed Voltex Type 4B 1600mm pretty much landed in my lap you could say 😅

Knowing these take nearly a year to deliver, I had to pull the trigger right away. Could’ve been the easiest flip but I wanted to rock it myself first so here it is!

Swan-neck style has really grown on me over time, and this along with CLEIB’s version are my personal favorites.

No listed downforce numbers by Voltex, but the additional weight over my existing setup ~5lbs, and a much larger and angled top is definitely contributing some amount.

Both at the track this past weekend, and even on one of my favorite high speed backroads last night the rear felt more planted. On a long sweeping left, one that I have taken dozens of times at a considerable pace, I was able to retain a much higher speed than I have in the past.

I don’t think I’ll be adding a duckbill now that this does sit lower than the CUSCO Risers

Landed in his lap he says 😆 , I've grown to like the swan neck mounts the more I see it. Hopefully one of you will pull the trigger on a Result Japan swan neck GT Wing so I don't have to.
