When I went to the Hondata event in Charlotte, one of the guys there had the Borla. Even with stock downpipe it was very loud. It sounded pretty good but I wouldn't even think about it with an aftermarket DP. Personally I don't like the way the tips look, I think it's at least $1000 overpriced...
The pattern I got has good grip, definitely better than stock. The gas pedal is slightly wider too which I like. They have other patterns too that look like they have even more aggressive grip. I drive about 45% barefoot, 45% in big ol steel toe boots, and 10% sneakers or dress shoes.
I believe there's metal tabs on the cover that wrap around the pedal that have to be pryed out. I just went through the black rubber and left the cover. Still very secure

I did a 10k MTF change with Honda fluid and it's been noticeably smoother ever since. I'm not racking up a ton of miles so for now I'm just going to continue with Honda fluid changes every 10k.
