Hey, all. I’m really new to this scene, so forgive my ignorance when it comes to stuff. I’m really just ordering parts to have a lot of fun with my car.
So far, I have the Eventuri Charge Pipe, Eventuri Intake System, PRL Intercooler Billet, and AWE Track Exhaust.
I’m planning to order the Kuro+ Turbo and 27won Downpipe. Eventually, I’ll be upgrading the fuel system, so that’s why I’m going with the + rather than the regular Kuro. Other than that, does it seem like I’m missing anything that could do me a lot of good?
I already know the Turbo is overkill since I’ll mostly be on 93 Octane (at least for now), but it looks like it’s probably the best fit for a guy who wants power but plans to spend 90% of their time driving for regular purposes/on regular streets.

Looks like you have a fun build planned. I’m not sure how committed you are to the Eventuri intake yet but please be aware that it struggle above 400WHP due to the lack of a secondary intake duct. Their FK8 intake had it, the FL5 version does not. This deficit is only evident if dyno tested with the hood closed (same way you drive the car), which is why it is not known about more widely. On stock turbo applications it is not as much of a big deal.

Also, don’t forget your downpipe upgrade.

I’m more than open to recommendations. If something makes more sense while not being a drop in quality, that’s fine. I just chose the Eventuri setup because I heard it has the best sound.

Your best bet is to seek out options that have a secondary inlet. The PRL HVI is my top choice, which is available in both plastic or carbon fiber if you are up for paying more for something that looks nicer under the hood.

I've been on the fence about upgrading my turbo etc. I can't decide if it's worth the extra power in a FWD car. I'm currently tuned on stock turbo (360who and 400tq).

I'll follow this to see how it goes for you. I keep going back and forth on doing this and indecisive on the turbo...RV6, etc. Just not sure what the sweet spot is for a daily driver

I have a similar build. eventuri inlet and intake, PRL intercooler, PRL charge pipe, TSP catted downpipe, apexi front pipe and exhaust. i do have hondata on it but waiting for a tune.

it also depends on what your end game is for your build? track? show? power? and so on

As my daily driver, I feel like downpipe, intake, tune is the sweet spot. After tuning, I noticed that I had much less opportunity to go full throttle. Adding the downpipe meant even less. Doing a turbo or fuel system would just push me to levels where I feel like it would be a waste for the streets.

If you're like me though, you probably always want more. It's really hard to just say, "Damn my car is perfect just like it is. I'm going to leave it alone now."

I’m in the same boat. A DP, intake, and a tune is what I’m currently rocking, and it’s plenty for the street. BUT, I am always chasing that next dopamine hit, so I want 70,508 hp of course. But I think between traction issues and speed limit issues, it’s not super worth going any further. Not saying I won’t though😂

Agree intake, exhaust and tune is likely the sweet spot on this platform. Perhaps I'm greedy, but I would add flex fuel as well.

Agree for the most part. IMHO exhaust should be the first area of focus; specifically replacing the downpipe with a better and shielded alternative to contain radiant heat. Second would be a tune. Anything after that are debatable improvements based on priorities (flex fuel or more efficient intercooler, intake, cat back exhaust, suspension or other improvements).
