Just an FYI. A co-worker smacked a deer a couple of weeks ago with his 2021 Subaru STi. He has Progressive for insurance. Repair costs are averaging $7,200. Progressive is offering $1,800. Way below the cost of parts and forcing aftermarket parts be used. Local auto body shops will not...
Congratulations on the Integra! You will love it as a daily.
I have a 2022 Si and a 2019 CTR. The Si is way better for a daily driver for many reasons. My CTR is my autocross toy. The CTR has great seats, but they take more effort to get in and out. The CTR is way faster, enough to get...
Thanks for posting up your impressions! Very cool to hear the comments about the FL5. I am an FK8 owner and daily an 11th gen Si, FE1.
• The Bose system is a huge upgrade to the crappy system in the FK8.
• The higher final drive ratio of the FL5 might actually be better for acceleration. The...
I have a 2019 FK8 and a 2022 Si (FE1). The 11th gen chassis is much improved over the 10th gen car. Stiffer chassis, wider tires, a few more horsepower and the FL5 will be amazing. That hood vent will allow the turbo heat to vent, hopefully eliminating the overheating tendencies on track...
Unfortunately, many sanctioning bodies do not allow that much of a change in wheel size. It's not that they won't fit. SCCA Solo rules are ± 1" on wheel diameter and ± 7mm on offset.
I'm running 19x8.5'snd would love to switch to 19x9.5, but cannot due to the competition rules.
As your car gets older, it becomes more important to not run it dry. This will cause all the foreign material in the tank to clog the filter. Then you have to change that just to get going again. Not really an issue when new.
I don't like the ACC. It does work, the issue is other drivers that cannot maintain speed. I'm cruising along at 60mph, then 59, then 58, then 57, then 58. Good grief people! Even with the closest follow setting it seems far away. Too far to camp in the left lane to pass a putt putter. I...
Added a few goodies to make life easier!
Bag hook in the trunk. Makes grocery bags easy to grab and keeps items in the bags. I hate having to crawl into the trunk to grab those cans that came out and rolled around.
When the hook is not enough, here is the factory netting. The sides are...
Interesting! They haven't revealed 2023 pricing, so the color fee may be absorbed there.
The N switching to P on the model code is just the year designation. N = 2022; P = 2023. Still the FE1 chassis.
Mine did the same. My guess is that the transport company picked up the car from the railyard. Now it is moving by truck and will get to your dealer within a few days. The dealer will know hours before delivery that it is inbound.
Hold tight! It's getting closer! You're just days away!
My Si dropped off the finder website on Wednesday. It seems to drop off once the car is pulled from the railyard. The car arrived at the dealer last night and I'm going to pick it up this (Friday) afternoon.:)
Took about 4½ months since I reserved the allocation on December 3.
Another way is to Build your Si on the Honda website. Then click search inventory near your zip code. It will display the closest dealerships and show '1 in transit'. There is no other info from the Honda site.
This shows mine in transit. There is no elapsed time here either.
