Nice, thanks! I've been talking myself out of it bc a few certain unavoidable angles around the house but I think I can manage the drop especially with the taller tire as far as minor scraping is concerned.

I think you will be a much happier car owner if you just accept the wear and tear that is going to happen on the bottom of the front bumper It adds character

Oh that actually I'm not worried about. I have an HDPE splitter on there too and that stuff doesn't scrape, maybe barely a couple times - it's the 2 center flat top screws underneath on the front skid. We had a road repair n our neighborhood that's sinking and it's already basically driving into an upside down triangle. I've replaced them 3 times already. Just bought a bunch to always have on hand and used loctite, but we'll see.

I'll be getting my satin bronze VS-5RS on my DE5 in a couple weeks... they arrived over a week ago but some work travel and an encounter with a fire extinguisher have added a significant delay.

Finally got my 18x9.5 +45 VS-5RS in Motorsport Gold in from UPS losing them, somehow. And snagged some Raceseng titanium lug nuts during their July 4th sale.

I’m torn between DWS06+ in 265 or 275. My Type R is my daily, and I drive in all the seasons, so I feel like the DWS06+ is a good fit for me. I just can’t decide on the size.

I love a good meaty fitment and like the idea of the 275 being more flush with the fender, and even possibly a 275/40. I have no intentions of lowering my car either, but are there any negatives to a 275?

From what I have read a 40 profile tire wheel throw off the speedo, as well.

Looking for advice any advice/opinions.

Typically we would recommend going with a 275/35-18 with these wheels, but aside from the speedo being slightly thrown off there shouldn't be any major issues with a taller tire.

That is actually what I ended up deciding to go with. Continental DWS06+, getting them mounted next Friday. Can’t wait!
