As i expected Touring loses heated rear seats...and Sport and Ex lose fog lights and the EX doesnt have SiriusXm. I sure hope the SI keepes SiriusXm and the Fogs. I travel for work and cant imagine not having SXM.

Honda and Toyota seem to always package and feature things so weirdly. Why does the EX not have fog lights? Same for the Sport? The 10th gen offered more in a weird way while the 11th gen offers better tech but less still? The Si won’t have a DCT/10 speed so the touring or sport is what i’m considering.

Why does the Canadian Touring model get a heated steering wheel & back heated seats when the American Touring doesn’t for the same money? Also, I don’t see it listed here but it better have remote start from your phone, sick of this being the only sedan without that feature. Having to have the car in sight before remote starting kills the purpose of remote starts for me. Also, I was really hoping for ventilated front seats as this is way more important to me than heated. I am kinda disappointed to be honest, all in all.

It still blows my mind that Honda considers heated side mirrors and variable intermittent wipers as premium features and only offers them on the top trims.
In the US, not even the current top-dog CTR gets heated side mirrors. What’s the point of saving $5 per when you’ve only shipped 30,000 (maybe) cars to the US? I refuse to believe the margin is that thin on a halo car.

Just to expand on this and put some real world perspective on it. Back in 2002, my first gen Elantra GT hatch came with variable intermittent wipers and heated side mirrors, standard. Not exactly a luxury car either.

Honda's packaging decisions are a bit strange. At least offer some sort of optional "convenience package" that includes those features.

Another example of Honda weirdness. All my previous cloth seated cars had vinyl or leather on wear surfaces like the center console and armrests. Honda used cloth on the 10th gen touch surfaces. That was the reason I went EX-L. I just find a lot of their choices strange.

No XM or HD radio on anything below Touring? EX turbo without fogs?

Also, am I the only one that thinks listing a Sport badge as a "feature" is a bit silly?

They probably list it as a feature because the LX and EX probably don't get badging...its stupid but that's what they do.

No XM is stupid. I'd much rather have fog lights and XM radio than a stupid sunroof that adds weight, reduces headroom, reduces mpg, leaks and costs extra to insure and repair.

Crazy that lumbar support is not offered, even in the Touring. Just nuts.
