Good to know the dealers in Quebec is asking for colors. Did they mentioned about the price. If the car is going for 45K USD which is 62K CAD direct conversion. Lets say its we get a deal at 58K CAD + fees and taxes.. Will you still be on board? I wonder if the FL5 will cost in between a GRC core and CE as that is 45 - 53K range. But at 62K CAD i am out.

I’m from Surrey BC, and contacted every dealership here in BC. I only got 1 deposit out of all the dealerships in BC as they don’t accept any yet. Haven’t received any updates too. Please let me know if you receive news.

I am also hoping its less then 52K as well. As the LE was $54,600 and the normal 2021 Type R was 48K.

I don’t think that means much, considering everyone has their own feelings about what a car should or shouldn’t be. It’s almost become normal now for people to scoff at cars because they’re, “too fast” what ever the fuck that even means… haha

yes and no, when I walked in I was introduced to Wes but he was about to get off, so introduced me to Jeff, so Jeff took my deposit but I have been "in conatct" with Wes.
Have you heard anything?

Just got another text from my dealership. The Director just got off another call and was told the Civic Type R will be for a duration of 2.5 years of production or so. He updated to say due to the severe limited availabilities I will likely be looking at more of a 1-2 year wait haha.

Honestly that's really what I was expecting since it's also a smaller dealership, so no surprise here. I'm just happy they're keeping me updated.

If the price does go to 62k CAD I'm definitely out as well though. I expect it to be around 52k CAD, probably 51,990 or something.
