I have an Elantra N I’d consider trading in; if they gimme a decent offer. It’d also minimize sales tax. If they can’t provide a good offer, I’ll sell to carmax, or vroom…

When I was going in person to trade my ‘20 FK8 for an FL5 to Honda dealers I was getting lowballed everywhere. Went to Carmax and sold it for what they gave me on the blind online appraisal and then bought my FL5. Believe they got me at 34K and with tax credit in NV it put me at 37K or so but Carmax gave me 41K.

It's a good deal. What's included in the $1.5k? Maybe try to get them to throw in some accessories you actually want.

Doesn't matter what we think. What accessories do you want? Look at the accessories catalog, research the items that appeal to you, and inquire.

Anything you would actually want. Look through the catalog and see. For me, getting the CF wing would be huge, but that seems unlikely.

Would be nice to get the CF wing at cost as listed on the Honda site (or any accessories for that matter) and do the install myself. Most the cars I have found have the wing but it is listed as a $4k option which is an insane markup.

4K for the wing alone is insane. Do they just hope ppl drool at the idea of carbon fiber and slap a number on it

Yeah, I don't know what is going on. Seems like a bunch of the Hendrick dealers in the mid-Atlantic and South East have this same pricing. They list the car as MSRP/no ADM but they jack up the accessory/labor costs. $4k for wing and $6k for the forged wheels. The wing takes like 5 minutes to install, a $2k markup is ridiculous.

I exchanged emails with a SA a few weeks back when they had a CW and BB available. They seemed pretty entrenched on their ADM at the time.

When i went in person, they gave me a quote that was much lower than over the phone. It was for the CW.
