I was planning on getting the kuro+ however I can't really picture that anything over 500 is really usable on fwd street car. Guys are talking about breaking traction and stock turbo.
What do you mean? It is Honda heritage to just spin until 120mph🤣. I’m still not there yet but got to 90mph spinning so I’m getting there.🤣🤣

Well remember also that the MHI comes with a brand new wastegate. That part alone is worth some $$.
Does that mean the waste gate rattle will be gone?

No, since it is the same wastegate setup. So you get all the same wonderful rattles as the stock turbo.
I was hoping to get a reason to justify my purchase.

More Kuro+ action - making power easier than ever thanks to recent Hondata software updates. This is NOT my car, it is a customer's car:

What are you using as a fuel filter? JSR?

I'm also curious about the duty cycle. Are 1550's big enough or would a set of 2000's be better. Also I'm curious to see how long that clutch lasts. Any signs of slipping while on the Dyno?

Tsp’s FL5 is still on stock clutch with similar power level, still holding after awhile. I’ve never been big on maxing out fuel systems, turbos, etc on previous cars I’ve built in my years. That’s why I was curious about how much of the injector was being used at those upper 500’s. I thought I’ve read somewhere going to a 2000cc injector Motec system may be a benefit, which still isn’t available for FL5. Is there specific fuel filters too people are using for upper 500’s. I haven’t done any engine mods yet just reading and researching myself.

I do think Hondata can support a 2000cc injector. You would need motec for that, but I don't believe motec has released an ECU for our generation yet. Only available for the FK8 as far as I know.

2500cc required motec. 1530cc have been tested up to 720hp and maxed out the hondata fk8td and 4pistons went past that only with motec. Red star and JSE Might be up there same set up.
So you're likely to run out of turbo then injectors with what most people run on ctr
