I’m interested in seeing how many in our community run a 27WON turbo and their experience when servicing them, especially when finding out what the “Lifetime warranty” actually covers.

Kuro owner over here, had to get it rebuilt with just over 3k miles on it for a broken wastegate arm, it was covered under the Lifetime Warranty. It has almost 10k miles on it since the rebuild with no issues. I was between the Kuro and the MHi 2 and the warranty is what led me to choose the Kuro. 27Won have been good to deal with in my experience.

I personally know 2 non-forum members that run the Kuro+ both making just over 500whp and both cars have more miles on their turbos than I have on my Kuro.

I will hopefully share my experience soon. Waiting for more people to share so I can get an idea of how popular these turbos are.

We ran a Kuro on my FK8 from 2022 to 2025 with no issues. We also ran one on our first FL5 for 6 months, from summer 2023 to winter 2024, again without any issues. Nathan, our local FL5 track tester, has had a Kuro on his car since early spring and has racked up 20k+ miles and 10+ track days on it so far.

No Kuro+ locally yet. We've shipped a few around the country.

The turbo runs without issue so there’s never a need to take it out to inspect because why would anyone do that right?

Main lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects for the life of the turbo for the original owner.

We'll also cover wear and tear items for the first year of a part as a courtesy at our discretion. On a turbo, that would be things like bearings and piston/seals. Non turbo items are also covered if it's a wear and tear component under this additional warranty.

We've probably already spoken, maybe even in detail so this is more informational for everyone else wondering.
