Hi everyone!

Starting this thread along with a new YT channel (YouTube) to log the journey with my FL5. This is my 3rd CTR, I previously has a 2017 and 2018 FK8. I took delivery of my FL5 on Thursday 5/25/23 at 11PM here in San Diego, CA. Car was purchased from Round Rock Honda for 51,277 +TTL and it included CF Wing, car cover, shift knob, window tint, wheel locks, paint protection package + warranty. Total purchasing process took about 7 weeks.

This will be a place where I can not only track but share my progress and DIY guides with the FL5 community.

I'll start it off with some pictures from delivery night

Very nice - another Rallye Red! I'd love to see more photos of the carbon wing on it as I'm considering it myself. The red weave I think goes with Rallye Red.

A few weeks ago I picked up some used H&R FK8 springs locally for $100. I was finally able to set aside some time to install them. I did record the process and plan on uploading it to YouTube as a DIY once I have some time to edit the footage.

Overall the installation felt a lot easier than when I did it on my FK8. The fronts can be done in an hour or less and the rears about 15 mins, maybe 30 max.

Measurements before lowering are shown in the pictures below. After the springs were installed and settled, the fronts measured 25.5 and the rears were just a hair bit lower.
