Just chiming in to the Cusco risers as I was really interested with it too.

These photos are from ig with OEM wing:
(Added the ig handles if you want to check it further)

and these are with the Varis CF Wing which I think looks better with it being bigger and more aggressive imho.

Personally, I’m going to wait for the upcoming Voltex and Varis Evo to release more photos of their CF Wing and decide where I’m heading at.

hope it helps!
what wheels are on the white fl5? Anyone know

Jester,

What all did you have to remove from the engine bay to access the firewall grommet? Also, did you have to remove some interior plastic coverings under the dash to install the OBD2 adapter and E/B/CAN box? I'm thinking of tackling this myself tomorrow. Sounds like its relatively straight forward but Hondatas instructions are pretty bare bones. I'm visual learner, I need a video lol. Thank you sir!

If any doubts give me a call! But very simple, remove the battery and you have access to the firewall grommet. No need to cut or anything just snake it in through one of the corners.

At the bottom of the dash just unplug the factory obd2 plug from the bracket like the instructions say. Attach the jumper harness and connect the Can Bus wire to the box and tie everything up neat and tidy. Do let me know when you install since you need a new basemap for the canflex to be enabled.

Once the battery is out, the grommet is very easy to pull out on one side. I ended up routing the wire above/behind the clutch pedal toward the driver side, and zip tied the box to the existing wiring harness tucked up into the footwell. The OBD port was a hassle to get out just took a couple of tries with a small flat head screwdriver.

I'll hit you up for a basemap with Canflex activated then finish 91 tuning before the E85. I noticed something that I believe might be different between the FL5 and DE5. I have something attached to my outer fuel bracket and I noticed the new Hondata bracket doesn't have a place to attach it. After viewing pics of the FL5 engine bay, I don't see this piece attached to the outer bracket like it is on mine. Maybe this is something specific to the DE5. I know that description sucked lol so I attached a picture....

No problem. The wire bundle that comes through the firewall grommet is a good path to follow. It leads to the fuses which is where you need to be as well. This was the worst part for me, I despise working under the dash - my back felt it the next day 😂

Hey, did your outer fuel bracket have this attached to it (see pic)? I have a Type S and I am wondering if my fuel bracket set up is a little different. Not sure where to reattach this thing. I figure worst case scenario I can zip tie it to something.

I can relate to the back issues and at 42 yrs old, it doesn't take much for back to get angry.

Lastly, have you started tuning on ethanol blend? I can't wait to feel the powaaaahh

😂 You have the Pracworks carbonfiber intake manifold.
That solenoid is not in the factory location on either FL5 or DE5

Yeah this is just because of the manifold. Just relocate or make a bracket for it.
