God, I can't wait until spring to take my winters off and stop writing. It gets like this every winter about this time of year. I used to spend hours on the forums and looking up car parts, now I write about how cars make me feel. It helps take the tension off. Simulators don't work, they don't feel right. I need the real thing, baby. I need high revving combustion turning hydrocarbons into emotion and a slick manual transmission.
But the thing is, by the time October rolls around, I'm kind of over driving and need a break. I'm not sure if I would really love driving as much as I would if I lived in California. Being able to drive all the time might ruin the wonderful cycle of spring energy, summer cruising, fall adventures, and winter hibernation.
