Coolant Temp Help

Hello fellow friends,
Could you please advice regarding on ECT 2 increases gradually above 90 Celcius to 95, 96 and to 100 C and peak 102 C then drops sooner below 95 C and repeat the cycles as I kick down high boost on canyon uphill road.

Should I switch to 5W30 or stick to the Amsoil SS 0W20 or alter fan activation earlier on ktuner?

Are you asking because you're concerned something is wrong or you want to upgrade for better performance?

Those temp fluctuations seem pretty normal, the thermostat opens and the temp goes down.

An oil weight change wont necessarily change your ect. You want your coolant to increase and decrease in temp since it means it's removing heat.

You should know what's normal by just driving normally and looking at your temps. Regardless 102C isn't outside the ordinary.
