Did you get this installed yet? Looks very similar to the OEM one but the bottom is slightly more tapered than OEM.

These pretty quick to take on and off? I keep a seat cover in my FC3 just in case I get dirty or wet but prefer to keep it off most of the time.
PS-too bad I can't get some side markers form you for this one. I have a set on my car and my gf's and have been really happy with them.
Yup, easy on and off :) a number of FC guys have gotten these already as their profile is similar to CTR seats.

Thank you sir! Hope you continue to enjoy them for years to come!

What cover is that? Do I see lumbar!?
You're correct. I'm using one of those infant pillows which fit perfectly on these seats (I have a back problem and bucket seats are pain in the ass) and the covers are Seatshield.

Seatshield goes with my car's interior pretty well since the texture of this cover is similar to the armrest (suede or Alcantara if I'm right).

Daily driving prep modifications
- swap factory floor mats for Weathertechs front and rear
- installed Honda rear hatch protectors (bought a set lightly used from a Civic owner). Need to cut the small pocket from the right side to fit the factory subwoofer

Looks good. Are these the regular hard material Weathertechs or the softer material Weathertech HP mats? Also, the factory rear cargo mat appears to be the one for the standard Civic hatch. Does this fit good other than the cutout for the subwoofer? I figured maybe the type R specific mat from Honda may be slightly different dimensionally due to the lack of spare tire in the R.

Yes, these are the fairly rigid laser cut mats.
Yes, it’s the Honda accessory standard Civic cargo mat. It does fit well and as you mentioned only the right side pocket needs to be removed to fit the sub. I don’t believe the FL5 trunk floor is shaped any different than the standard Civic. The rear seat protectors also fit very nicely as well.

I like all of this. Can you link me the weathertechs you bought? Did you add that type R logo to the driver mat? And also what slybrackets did you go with?

I've just ordered the same mats and is using an 8" Broadway convex mirror from my FK8 and I love it. :)

Great, thanks for the info. Regarding the cargo mat, I had just thought I read something about the cargo mat (maybe it was related to the FK8), where while the overall shape of the regular Civic and the type R trunk floor were the same, the mat sit at a different height level in the type R due to the lack of spare tire. I guess this difference caused the overall outer contour of the type R mat to be different based on where it hit the trunk surrounding plastic at the different height.

What sort of pricing are your detailers giving for your PPF, ceramic, tint etc?

My detailer gave me a quote of $2,947 for full front PPF, opticoat pro ceramic coating, and ceramic window tints. Seems like an average pricing.
