As the title says I daily drive my FL5 I don’t think ever will be able to take it to the track but on all my cars even the Evo I have before I upgraded the lines and the fluid but the pads I have some that weren’t too dusty. I saw that the FK8 has the EBC redstuff DP 31210C for the front and DP 32402C apparently they also fit the FL5 this ones are dusty like the stock ones or no dust at all? On my evo I have stoptec I think is the brand they were good and not dusty that I wash the car and the wheels are dirty in just one drive. I will also upgrade the brake lines but definitely not spoon the tax for spoon parts are too damm much 🤣 🤣 looking on recommendations on that also I saw the hel lines but want something black that looks like the OEM. For fluid I use the same on all my cars and my motorcycle motul rbf 600 I have 4 500 ml bottles is that enough to do the whole flush and put new fluid on the type r? Thanks for the inputs and all the help any other recommendations on brands also are welcome.

If you dont need anything crazy and dont plan to drive the car hard to take it to the track, get some ceramic pads and call it a day.

Rockauto has some Akebono Ceramics that would work

As I currently have no plans to track the car, I am looking to run Paragon P2s.

BTW, after 10 years (8 in rust belt) and 170k miles, I bought the CRV all new rotors and pads off eBay from Detroit Axle brand. Quality is very good for the $150 total price, which included shipping.

I'll go with higher end stuff on the CTR, but the CRV won't ever see triple digit speeds.

I run Akebono pads on my current R and also used them on my FK8 with out any issue. For the street they are fine.

FWIW I used Akebono Ultra-Premium Ceramic on my 2007 FA5 Si exclusively. no complaints.
