Did the climate control knob update

So I saw this floating around that you can take the climate control dials off and put black ones on. So I immediately found a set online and did the mod.

Not only did this at about 40 hp, it looks amazing! The car is so much faster and just cleaner looking

No. The one that everyone is buying is a poor match to the gloss black knobs of the climate control. It's more of a matte black, is larger in diameter, and still has a silver ring on the front.

Hope one is found for those that are hyper obsessed with matching. For the price and close match, the black option that exists is decent. Although, I agree that the silver front ring is silly.

I did this mod, looks great. Got a climate control from an HRV on eBay for like 40 bucks. These are not special knobs and are stock on a bunch of models so they are fairly easy to find. Still waiting on a good infotainment solution.

Pull straight off. Just pull and jiggle a bit.
