I saw other videos of people removing the front LCA's to get the front struts out but good to know it just takes some massaging with a pry bar to work it free.

I did, just not on camera

I went of FK8 torque specs since my prodemand doesn’t have the complete specs for a 2023 yet.

Attached are the torque specs, go by the 3rd number which represents ft/lbs

center nut for CTR is 44 ft/lbs

How long did it take?

It will honestly depend on how mechanically inclined you are. Had I not been recording and documenting the steps, the fronts would've taken 45 mins tops and the rears 15 mins. But for someone doing this for the first time, it could be 3-4 hours.

Had I done this at work, where I have a lift and a wall-mounted spring compressor then I could see the fronts being done in 20-30 mins

how are gaining play in the suspension? I did all that and the suspension won't move and is rock solid.

Did you make sure the sway bar link is disconnected on both sides?

I followed this video and couldn’t get The movement like the OP did. I did end up getting it out, but it was a fight on both sides. I even backed off the axle nuts so I didn’t accidentally pull the joint out.

I had to do that on both my old FK8s. Thats why I was shocked when I was able to get the front shocks out so easily on my FL5. Not sure why you guys arent getting as much play. The only thing I can think of is maybe because my car only had 400ish miles on it when I did the springs.

I did just recently swap out to Swift springs @ 1700ish miles and install went just as easy as it did the first time.

How did you prevent the axle from slipping out? Any tips? I saw a few people had it fall out on them.
