This is just not true at the moment. People who are financially responsible and essentially "well off" will still be "well off" if we enter a full blown recession. The lower class and lower middle class are the ones that suffer., and they've been priced out of "nice" new cars for quite sometime already. I'm in Texas, there are enough 20 somethings with 100k+ tech jobs that prices and demand don't cave to "recessions."

Look around, I've been watching several other model cars as an alternative and I am seeing prices slowly normalize. It isn't going to happen overnight but we are on the way. Look at trade in prices, they are declining as well.

All the supply chain shortage are catching up which is helping the crazy demand. Look at the video card market. People were paying 2-3X the retail price and now they are about to start being sold for MSRP as the production has caught. Manufactures like AMD and Nvidia are seeing huge drops in sales resulting in prices being lowered.

When cars like the Z06 aren't selling for $90k over MSRP I'll start to believe it lmao.

It's only the special/limited run cars, and none have actually sold for that just dumb as dealers pricing it at that.

All this will eventually end as most consumers are about over it. You can see if from sales dropping off in several sectors.

So the FL5 isn't special or limited then? Cause 500 in canada over 3 years to me is pretty special or limited?

The largest region volume dealerships are getting max 2-3 a model year.

In terms if markups etc, I don't think anyone here cares about non "special" cars.

Markups on regular base civics is meaningless to 90% of the people here IMO.

We only care about the hard to get cars.

The 10th gen averaged around 10K units made each year. Not hard to do the math when you look at the Type R registry and the registered badges are right at 48K. That does not include the LE.

Why does that matter in relationship to the FL5?

Are you correlating FK8 to FL5 in terms of production numbers?

I'll tell u right now that is a dumb idea.
