FL5 Build Data as of Jan 10, 2025

Dream Automotive posted this earlier today on IG and thought the community would find this data curious. Not sure the source of the data; however, this generally tracks with my knowledge of the U.S. and Canada markets. I wasn't expecting such a big number for AUS.

Agree, my thoughts exactly. I did see this earlier in the week as well. Seeing Dream post it makes it more credible.

I'm guessing the 2025 is the lowest because it's not finished yet? But if it stays the least amount and 2023 was the most does that signify anything about if there will be 2026? Or is that normal that they would make less as it gets older in the cycle in a car like this?

And suprised that CW is that high a percentage although the few times I've seen a type R out in the wild it's been CW.

2025 isn't done yet and I suspect 2023 was a slightly longer run specifically for Japan market to meet demand.

I guess there were no changes for the 2025 model?
The red and black color make it sort of a rare car if you think about it, then again I've only seen one other FL5 Type R since I bought mine and that was a CW at a car show. It will be a year in March.

If the original Canada estimate was correct, 34 are left to be delivered in Canada. Weirdly a lot of red ones int the Toronto Area.

Yeah I think SGP might actually be the the rarest in the country.

Yeah, I think they picked the worst gray color. It looks like dust ball grey or primer. I really like the dark metallic gray from the last generation. I wish they would do it for this one.

My opinion, Black is the worse. I like SGP, the pearl alters the colour based on lighting. If we had Boost Blue in Canada I'd consider it, but I don't know how I feel about the blue and red. It's a colour combination best for Superman.

Had boost blue on my FK8. Loved the colour, but after 3 years the attention got annoying tbh!
