For the folks thinking about this swap or something similar, wouldn't this create a permanent resale problem? Obviously the swapped cluster will display the wrong mileage, and since the original (and used) cluster can't be updated to account for the miles driven while it is out of the car, there would be no way to sell a car with accurate mileage on the cluster? This would seem to me to potentially have a large effect on resale value.dealers cant read and write odo and mm data to used clusters, only new
I guess the only way around it would to be a third new cluster and have the dealer reprogram it?
