Thats good new. So you just tried it?
I tried it before installing the wireless 41.22 kill switch. Was thinking of doing some type of kill switch that utilizes that fuse.

The issue was not a bad ground.
The issue was that I was arming the kill switch too fast, like the code for the CEL states that the computer lost power too soon (the car needs time after shutting it off to log data)
so the fix for this is just to not arm the kill switch immediately after leaving the car, After leaving the car and locking it, give I will give it roughly 10 seconds before turning on the kill switch. And this keeps the car from keeping on throwing a CEL at you.
while the CEL doesn’t really harm the car as far as I noticed, just kinda annoying. I’d keep an obd2 reader on hand just to clear the light quickly if it ever appears (like if you accidentally turned the kill switch on too soon)
I also keep an obd2 blocker on my port so it would be kinda annoying to have to keep taking it off to reset the light so finding this out that I needed to give it a wait time was helpful. Just doing as much as I can to keep the car from getting stolen since I’ll be moving to Cali soon and hearing too many nightmares story’s of Type R’s getting stolen. Might just start taking my battery with me everywhere I go.
if you have more questions reach out, I’ll do my best to help.
So the only way to avoid the cel is to wait those 2 minutes before activating? Did you find another solution to prevent it? I am also interested in the 4122 kit but it will be annoying if I have to wait that long.I keep getting the same exact CEL. I’ll try waiting a few seconds next time and report back within the next hour or so. Thinking I might switch to the wired setup if it doesn’t work.

Update : had the same hunch last night. Waiting a good 2 minutes before clicking off on the remote. Car fired right up with no CEL.
Nope. It’s not 2 mins though. I usually lock the car and wait roughly 10-20 seconds. So the only way to avoid the cel is to wait those 2 minutes before activating? Did you find another solution to prevent it? I am also interested in the 4122 kit but it will be annoying if I have to wait that long.
Damn, is your county that un-safe?Welp. I had another attempted break in to my car yesterday morning. They wrecked the paint on my door handle, and screwed up the key cylinder so now my backup key doesn’t work. So glad I have a killswitch now.

Thanks, all, for sharing your installation procedures. I ended up installing the same kill switch and put it in the fuel pump PGM relay 2, and it worked. However, I don't like that the car turns on and you can drive a little bit. I might try installing it in the PGM relay 1 to see which I prefer.
After finishing the installation, I noticed that the CEL and the rev-matching signal were on, but the next day they were off. I also noticed that the range miles displayed when running out of gasoline are off; it is not based on my avg miles per gallon. It says I have enough gas to drive 300ish miles with a full gas tank, even though I usually get around 220 mpg. Have any of you had this problem?
Additionally, does anyone know why the kit came with two relays? Where can you use the reverse relay?
