Free OEM Tire Replacement?

Michelin doesn't cover OE tires for mileage, but I talked with Tire Rack and they said:

"If you purchase with us, we will take care of the Michelin treadwear warranty for you.
Treadwear warranty is through Michelin."

I drove about 7k and will rotate after winter but assume I'll likely hit the 2/32 at about 15-20k miles. It's a pro-rated discount on a new set of tires, and yes that would be when I'm on my third set (45k miles?) but something to keep in mind on any new tire you get.

Just a quick question—how do you go through tires so quickly? I got 36k miles on my original set, rotating them every 5k miles and checking tire pressure regularly. They ended up getting destroyed because of the car’s alignment, as confirmed by consensus here on the forum. Not sure if you saw my post about it.

I’m asking because I see so many stories about these tires. I’ll be switching to Continental DSW 06+, which are more daily-driving focused, and I plan to run a less aggressive rear toe to try to extend the tire life. I mostly drive on the highway, averaging about 600 miles per week. You’re already on your third set of tires—wow! That’s amazing, and I’m genuinely curious about your experience.

You want my OEM tires?
Apparently no one in Texas does. The tires have only 4022 total miles.
They've just been collecting dust in my * very climate controlled * dining room. I have kept them indoors and away from sunlight since dismount.
Not sure what shipping tires will cost, but it's gotta be cheaper than shipping wheels.

Just a quick question—how do you go through tires so quickly?

Mine are in the basement, let me go check tread depth. Ok, actually better than I expected.

After 6k miles:

5.40mm front
6.50mm rear

OEM seems to be about 7.5mm.

2/32 is about 2.5mm. So if I lost 2mm from the fronts in one summer season and 1mm from the rear and I rotate I should see:

S2
4.5 front
4.4 rear

S3
2.4 front
3.5 rear

Then I would likely replace at the mid/end of S3.

I mainly go on longer drives to visit friends/family, I'm lowered with a 'oem' spec alignment done after the lowering (pins removed), and usually find some fun roads on most of my drives.

Greetings..My first set of Sport 4 tires went almost 10000 miles in central WV. They were melted and shreaded on the paved goatpaths that pass as roads where I live..Alignment is perfect..I replaced the dogcrap sp4 with Conti DWS 06 and never looked back.
