This is my 25 Type R that I been slowly adding parts to. I had a Integra Type S before hand that was unfortunately stolen and after I decided to go with the Type R and have not looked back. The car is fun in every way. Multiple safety/theft deterrents have been added to ease my mind. It can definitely use a dash cam like this as I been slowly looking into one and like the idea of this style that blends right in with the car. Good luck to all .

Good question! While the outer housing and OEM-style integration look pretty similar, the main differences are on the inside:

• Sensors: Sony STARVIS / STARVIS 2 sensors for better low-light performance and image quality.
• Thermals: An internal aluminum alloy heatsink core helps manage heat, especially when the car is parked in direct sunlight.
• Build: FPC flexible ribbon cabling helps handle cabin heat and road vibration.
• GPS: GPS comes standard.

So you get the same clean OEM-style look on the outside, with upgraded optics and internal heat management underneath.
