I just drained my Mishimoto can. After 5000 miles of normal driving the oil (Pennzoil Ultra 5W-30) was 10mm deep. The catch can has maybe 3-4 times that capacity.

Try tightening those hoses down enough to seal and you'll be replacing the intake and and valve cover. I fixed mine by replacing the hoses with the proper size. 9.5mm are 3/8 and i guarantee those barbs are not 3/8. Here is a pic of the current hose I'm using.
You'll need a foot of 5/16 hose and 2 barbs to adapt from 3/8 to 5/16. I also put a 5/16 check valve on the intake side. I just responded to the youtube comment and linked back to here. I don't appreciate the flat out lying from them and the reviewer about Honda hose barbs being 3/8. He damn sure didn't use factory hose clamps on the provided 3/8 hoses. I wouldn't use fuel line really, but it was already here. Fuel line outside diameter is a little larger than the factory hose and you really want those squeeze clamps too so you don't take a chance on snapping the plastic barbs on the intake or valve cover. Take your factory hose to O'reilly and match it up so you can use the factory clamps. And Collin deliberately replied on youtube without using my screen name so I wouldn't be notified. I used his in the my reply to make sure he knows I'm calling him out.

Yes, my comment from last night was deleted by by @phothrottle or @CollinWiedel-o1c last night. I had to repost it again this morning, I am making sure people are aware the test results are skewed because of the larger hoses used, also support at Improved Racing will not respond to this or post reviews concerning the larger hoses.

My comment from last night in response to Collin, who removed my tag from his response to me so I wouldn't be notified, in dispute of his claims of 3/8" barbs used by Honda was deleted and I reposted it this morning. And when it decides to disappear again, here is a screenshot.
I "damn sure didn't use factory hose clamps on the provided 3/8 hoses" I took the clamps right off the factory hoses. You shouldn't be going around and pointing fingers and false accusations without all the facts. I have accountability to my viewers and their is no reason for me to lie.
I know you didn't use the factory clamps, they won't even fit over the supplied hoses. You did say you had to change the clamps in the video and again you clarified the size with Collin in the comments and the factory most certainly are not used and most certainly the factory barbs are 5/16". Might want to look at your video at 5:00 on where the undersized clamps are clearly shown on the hose. You might want to go see how bad the vacuum leak is on your hoses and how much oil is leaking from the loose hoses. Your Type R is running a bit rich if you used the hoses they supplied.
You are definitely a man on a mission and yes those are the factory clamps on the fatter hoses you keep on talking about. You initially said I didn't use them and now you are saying im using undersized sized hose clamps??? The factory clamps are just a little tight to get on but they work and im not sure why you are complaining. Im just being nice courteous and entertaining your comments.
Factory clamps won't even open up enough to go over the barb with the supplied 3/8" hoses. I'm using them with 5/16" fuel line and they are opened as far as they can go to get over the factory 5/16" barbs. Try again. Take a look at the pics from earlier of the factory hose alongside the 3/8: hose supplied. Wall thickness is the same on the hoses but the 3/8 outside diameter is damn near twice the size of the factory hose. Here is a clearer pic. And second pic is the supplied 3/8" hose on a 5/16" barb to 3/8" barb adapter to show just how loose it is and why you can't tighten enough to get rid of the vacuum leak your bound to have without using the correct hose sizes. That same barb fits snugly in the factory hose. Can provide a pic of that as well.
I used barb adapters to adapt back to the 5/16". Your going to run rich with a vacuum leak and you will see oil blowing out around the hoses after you run it awhile. I have seen a vacuum leak without a code though. Ask the guy with the radium can and leaking hoses due to o-rings. he didn't get codes either. His video is on youtube as well. I have put maybe 200 miles on my car since putting the can on. I tore the meniscus in my knee shortly after putting it on and just had surgery last week. Turbotin..here is the video.
No leaks. I tested just recently after making -6 an quick release fittings and hoses from Greddy/Dyme. I'm definitely not running rich either but I'm on a slightly built head and upgraded turbo + supporting fuel upgrades.
Make sure you check engine side. You won't see leaks at can side because the fittings on the can are 3/8" ID. I'm not doing it with 3/8" on engine side. I have replaced an intake due to someone over tightening a hose that was too large. That boy got a foot in his ass for that one.
