One could get a correctly-sized hose clamp, of which somebody might have posted a picture, not over-tighten it and call it a day. (I still like adding a check valve before the IM)

Ok so you ignore the fact that improved racing lied about their test results as well as the size of the Honda barbs And why are they not here disputing it? They used oversized hoses to get great test results. Plenty of pics proving this. Hose clamp doesn't fix it, correcting the hoses does.

I’ll take the larger hose and better performance, thanks. You keep your smaller hose. Not everyone needs the big ones.

Coming from someone who apparently is ok with vacuum leaks and your car running rich, you go for it. I paid $300 for a kit that was supposed to have the correct size hoses and support that actually answers a ticket. Not to mention the R&D that apparently wasn't done for the vehicle it was sold for. I'll gladly call them out for garbage support that ignores tickets and provides incorrect size hoses. From their website :

• Direct bolt-on kit for Gen 10-11 Honda Civic, Gen 10 FK8 Civic Type R, and Gen 5 Acura Integra. Does not fit hybrid models.

And there clearly is not a 9.5mm 3/8 barb anywhere. Thanks for confirming. Can also confirm the hose stayed the same from 2017 to 2025. Because as I side ID on on factory line and OD on the Honda barb is 5/16 or roughly 8mm. I see though you didn't bother showing us just how small the Factory lines are. Here you go ,factory hose literally inside the 3/8 hose provided. Maybe someone there should pay attention to support tickets and not delete tags before replying to that person on YouTube. After sales support makes a big difference. Took you 2 days to answer a ticket before sale and after sales your gone.

The pics proved one thing dude, this is something that should have been actually done during R & D and the barbs are too small for 3/8" hose. Also can put the factory hose clamp on your 3/8" hose and prove it won't even open up enough to go over a 3/8" barb. Would you like those pics as well? Here is pic of the factory hose with clamps provided for this complete kit. The same ones that you couldn't even install. i never even took them out of the original bag, it pretty obvious they were too large. Some more of that great R & D.
