Infotainment Clock Wallpaper Images

I couldn't find any existing threads for this so I thought I would share. The infotainment "clock" app background resolution is 2080x900. Anything other than this resolution will create black bars to the left and right of the image.

Below are some FL5 wallpapers I made from the Japanese Honda Civic Type-R website. Simply save image to a FAT32 formatted USB flash drive-> insert into left USB port on the dashboard ->open the clock app -> import the images.

Today I was 0 years old when I discovered this!!!
Went to my car, opened the clock app for the first time ever, as I am going to add the wallpapers that jcfishel posted above, and discovered this one…

it seems to flow with what I did several weeks back, on the exterior. Super shocked and pleased at the same time

Love it! I originally came across this while setting up our new 2025 Honda Odyssey, which works the exact same way. The kids love the Waving Honda Robot wallpaper.

FYI, if for any reason you can't find the clock app in the infotainment menu, it might be disabled. Open "All Apps" and enable the checkbox for the clock app. Icon should now appear in the main menu launcher.

Thank you! I found the app easily enough as you had mentioned the word ‘app’ in your initial post so figured it must be in the all apps section of the Home Screen. My box was checked. Found the quickest way into the clock view, just touch the time display in the upper right corner of the screen shown in my first photo.

For some reason when I download the pictures to the usb flash drive. The car itself cannot find the files? Am I doing something wrong? I tried using 2 different flash drives...

Make sure it saved as a jpg or jpeg, if it saved as a png or web file it wont see it.

Also make sure the flash drive is formatted "FAT32" File system. Flash drives <32GB will usually format this way automatically.

Flash drives >32GB will default to either "NTFS" or "exFAT" File system and you will have to use a 3rd party utility to format correctly.

the usb flash drive is on FAT and I saved the files as jpeg.
