I’m really interested in your experience of this. I personally plan to do mods that increase the sense of connection with the road (engine mount, rigid collars etc) and increase the tactile experience of the car like the acuity shifter so I would love to hear how you find it
I'm on kind of the same path.
I'll let you know the outcome, good or bad. 👍

It is.
Initally, I wasn't so sure, but over some time, It's clearly a very good thing indeed.
It's rock solid (I didn't notice the stock one wasn't until this was in)
Mechanical. In a good way
Improved the 1-2 shift speed and smoothness.
It's a very high quality piece.
Massively adjustable to be whatever you want it to be; which is the key point.

would recommend. 👍

Looks real good, how does it compare to the stock shifter? Worth?
100% agree with what joshinthecity said. You just have to feel this shifter in person to believe. I was very hesitant to get one until I felt one in an Si, it's that good! Highly recommended, every shift is so satisfying.

I have to try it. I love the stock shifter so much that I don't know how I feel about changing it. But all I have heard from this are positive reviews so maybe I have to give it a go first to feel how much better it is

Yep. That was me 100%
My only hesitation was exactly yours.
For me it was worth it.
Taking the time to set it up EXACTLY as YOU want it, is the key. (or having an installer willing to spend 10 mins with you on this at time of install)

It's a shame you're so far away from me, I'd be happy to let you try mine....

You can see how mechanical the movement is, no slop, and hear the distinct CLUNK of every gear. Smiles per shift to money spent of the shifter is well worth it IMO.

Put it this way.
If you did it, and regretted it, you would be the first person in that situation I have ever heard of.
I was a little afraid that might be me, but it would be you ;-)

Also, to assist with the issue at hand. Remember, it's 100% reversible if you don't like it.

Part of my decision to get it was also due to the Black Friday sale in November, as it was a bit cheaper. If you're not in a hurry, just make a list of what you want and wait for sales. I already have a list for this coming Black Friday. For the upcoming HRC accessories, the Acuity Shifter must be good for Honda to partner up with them and charge more for it.

Nice, which tuning platform are you choosing? I want Hondata and missed the last local tour. They usually do discounts for their tours so now waiting for the next one.

I will be going Hondata as well. Luckily there is a local reputable tuner who does the jailbreaks in house too.
