Normally there’s minimal or zero changes, although it’s interesting that the GR Corolla got a lot of changes to the 2024 model, new color, new wheels, even suspension, steering and cooling improvements.
but that car was probably a little underbaked on release.
Man Autofolding mirrors is my longest standing grudge with most NA versions of JDM vehicles.Parking sensors would be nice. Same with auto folding mirrors. Basically adding some things available in other markets. Heated seats would make me buy one tomorrow even though I know that won’t happen.
5k markup is hard to come by in California. I'm crossing my fingers to find one with that mark up here.Any ideas if there are going to be any changes to the 2024 MY CTR? Seems like dealers in my area are very open to selling 2023 with “only a 5k” markup. Probably due to the ITS being available for MSRP and maybe also due to changes coming in the 2024 CTR?
Your chances are better if you're willing to go out of state. Do you have an aversion to expanding your search out of the state of California?5k markup is hard to come by in California. I'm crossing my fingers to find one with that mark up here.

Good question. I have never purchased a car out of state. The process seems like a major headache.Your chances are better if you're willing to go out of state. Do you have an aversion to expanding your search out of the state of California?
If you truly want this car and are price sensitive, a California only approach is not a winning strategy. Buying out of state doesn't have to be stressful. I've done it several times, including my FL5, and in some instances it's as easy if not easier than buying local. I cannot speak to the process in California so you may want to do some homework there. There are California forum members who have purchased out of state so they may be able to provide some counsel.
