I have yet to do anything to my FL5. Does anyone have opinions on Hondata vs KTuner?

KTuner does not support the FL5. Hondata and Cobb Tuning are your options. Also, I suggest conducting a bit of research on the tuning platforms. There's quite a bit of information out there.

With doing a tune on these, do we need to mail our ecu to them? Generally, how long is the process? I don't plan on many mods maybe downpipe and maybe intercooler someday. Would just like to liven in up from stock. Any preferences from one or the other available tuners?

I know Hondata can jailbreak the ECU as it would have to be to use any of their ECU port tuning products. From what I have read their turn around time is pretty swift. 1-3 days I believe.

Thanks! I went on Hondata website. They claim 45hp and FPT on 93.
Here our 93 is ethanol and prefer to run non ethanol that 91 is.
If anyone here knows, what is hondatune mpg on 93 and 91? I suspect there are improvements on each vs stock?
It may determine which tune i install. If 91 is getting, say 4mpg better than the 93 then I'd probably stick with it, in spite of the the HP loss.

Reliable MPG data is something you're not going to be able to find. Also, your best bet is to spend some time searching the forums, the Hondata website, YouTube, and their IG for information. I'm all for dialogue and exhange of ideas and information but you need to do some of the leg work and come back with pointed questions. Everything your average user will need to know and the basic questions you're asking about Hondata have been discussed ad nauseum on this forum.
